Use of the Service may include receiving email communications as described in our Privacy Policy.

1.4 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Unauthorized use of your account should be reported immediately to dave@the-happy-pantry.com.

1.5 Prohibited Uses

• Reverse engineering or scraping our services
• Using PantryPal for medical diagnosis, emergency response, or safety-critical applications
• Distributing or exploiting AI-generated content as factual or professionally endorsed

1.6 Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and software are the property of The Happy Pantry LLC or its licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of the platform without prior written consent.

1.7 Third-Party Services

We integrate with OpenAI, Supabase, and potentially analytics providers. Their data use is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

1.8 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at our sole discretion.

Termination of an account may also result in removal from non-essential email communications.

1.9 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Happy Pantry LLC shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of PantryPal.

1.10 Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Happy Pantry LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of PantryPal.

3.2 Recipe & Food Safety Disclaimer

Recipes and substitutions may not be safe, complete, or allergen-free. Undercooking, contamination, or misinterpretation of ingredients may cause harm. Use best food safety practices and verify all content independently.

3.3 Nutritional Estimates

Any nutritional information (macros, calories, etc.) is approximate and may reference public databases like the USDA FoodData Central. It should not be relied upon for medical or dietary planning.

3.4 Shopping Lists

Shopping lists are convenience tools. Ingredient availability, labeling, and brand variations are not accounted for. Always double-check suitability based on your dietary and health needs.
